The meeting discussed issues of cooperation and coordination of positions of Belarus and Russia on the promotion of approaches to ensuring international information security at various international venues. Specifies the ways of realization of the Russian-Belarusian intergovernmental agreement in 2013 on cooperation in the field of ensuring international information security.
During the meeting
Participants noted the effectiveness and importance of joint efforts in the field of ensuring international information security, expressed satisfaction with the results of the Belarusian-Russian inter-Ministerial consultations, held on 13 March in Minsk.
The dialogue underlined that the Belarusian side considers the resolution of the General Assembly of the United Nations "developments in the field of information and telecommunications in the context of international security" adopted at the initiative of the Russian side, in collaboration with Belarus in November 2018, as the most practical legal instrument in the field of further development of international information security and improving national legislation.

Stanislav Zas informed the Russian colleagues about the recent meeting of the security Council, during which the President of Belarus presented the draft concept of information security, as well as on the basic provisions of the instrument.
