"Everyone who lived in Syria and now lives! We need to find Olga Nikolaevna Fedorov from Belarus. It is eight years ago, I went from Aleppo, leaving the children with her husband. Husband died, the boys were left alone. Maybe someone knows it?"
Six months ago, volunteers around the world began to seek from Vitebsk Olga Fedorova. Her husband is a Syrian hit a mine laid in the car. Two children, Zachary and Klim Alito, left alone in Aleppo in hell of the civil war.
Euroradio found the mother and grandmother of boys and found out what happened to Zakaria and climate control.
Husband cheating children in Syria
Olga Fedorova has married the citizen of Syria in the early 2000s. at First the young couple lived in Vitebsk, here they have had two children.
"Children Belarusians, born in Vitebsk, — tells Euroradio Helena, mother of Olga Fedorova. — Registered in the city, walking around in the garden".
Zakaria even managed to finish the first class of the Vitebsk school. But in 2008, the couple with children moved home with her husband of Olga, in the Syrian city of Aleppo. The family quickly falls apart. According to Syrian tradition, a man can have several wives and visit them in turn. To a life of Olga did not agree. She left Syria with their children.
After a few months the husband came to Vitebsk to visit family and cheating sons in Aleppo. Olga at the time worked in Moscow.
"Write that we are fine"
Eight years Olga knew almost nothing about their children. The woman was depressed: she went to Moscow and broke off contacts with relatives.
When Olga's husband died, Zakaria and Kevin stayed with his Syrian wife. The life of the guys had a savory — they were sent to work on the construction site. They managed to escape and with the help of volunteers returned to Belarus.
Their mother didn't even have to know that Olga was still working in the Russian capital. That her sons in Vitebsk, she learned from a volunteer who was searching for it in Russia.
Olga's mother says that her daughter is hard to tell about his experiences.
"We don't want to remember anything, she says. — Write, that everything is fine, everything is fine. There were a lot of nuances... We've gone through exactly what you need and what not. Children brought us... All is well. But to return to the past is not necessary."
Instead of summer camp — accounting
Olga returned to Vitebsk immediately after learned that there her children. Zakaria and the power steering slowly getting used to life in Belarus. After returning from a country where there is war, the boys needed help in adaptation.
"We have asked the Department of education with the question, where to go, where to start adaptation. I know that come the Syrian children in Belarus. There is a summer camp. Thought maybe we will be able to go... In response to the silence, the phone does not respond, — remembers grandma Zakaria and climate control. — And as a result began testing utility payments, and other. We just put before the fact that we registered. On what basis? No one has explained. Thank God, we are then given the shot".
More than six months, Zacharias and the climate I live in Vitebsk. To read and write my grandmother and mother taught the boys at home. In raising children they believe only in themselves.
Adaptation Zakaria and climate is not easy. Mother and grandmother explain to the children how to behave in the Belarusian society. According to Elena, one of the officials and teachers came to help in the adaptation of children.
Appeals to the local authorities caused the family trouble.
"The claims were, they say, why not learn children. But how to learn, when for ten years completely forgotten the Russian language? That we have no Arabic teachers, we are to blame? — Elena continues. — Adaptation is not easy. But it is our children, we know their habits. Retrained: what was possible in Syria, not us. We explain.
When we asked for help, we were told that will come and help you. In the result, the case was dropped by the education Department of Pershamajski district, and then school. We began problems with the teachers."
The family does not exist
In the Department of education of Pervomaisky district of Vitebsk on two Syrian boys who don't go to school... do not know. Chief specialist on protection and protection of the rights of minors Irina Gaevaya tells Euroradio that no family approached the Department with such questions:
"I raised over a 2018 log of applications and techniques, these people have not been. I can not help, — the official speaks. — The family do not know. Appeals were not. Nothing else I can comment on".
Just in case, we called the October Railway and education departments of Vitebsk. There also have not heard about Olga Fedorova and her children.
The situation is weird, but Zakaria and Climate control that does not help. The guys who turned out to be among strangers, still needed assistance in adapting. But to wait for help until out of nowhere, and relatives of the boys decided to rely only on themselves.
